Bonus Lesson 2: Jane Lee

Jane Lee happens to be one of my favorite Stampin' Up artist in the world! We met years ago when we both were chosen for the Artisan Design team. She has always been a master watercolor card artist and I asked her to show us a project. I keep everything Jane makes for me and I think you will see why! Enjoy!

Bonus Lesson 1: Janis McCarty

Janis happens to be my own mother! She is actually a professional watercolor artist! When I was growing up, she painted all day in her studio in our home. Now, she teaches high school AP art to girls who plan to major in art! She also spends her summers teaching my girls to paint! (The love it WAY more than I did at that age!)

So, who better to teach us a few tricks than her!? She has helped me along the way learn to shade and color (although not until I was an adult because I had NO interest as a child!) I hope you enjoy these bonus lesson as much as I have!

Lesson 7: Wink of Stella

Wink of Stella Brushes have take the world by storm! I have just tried them this winter since Stampin'  Up started to carry them, and I love them!! They are a great addition to your watercoloring arsenal as well! Check out the lesson and then put your Wink of Stella brushes to work!

Lesson 6: No Lines

Today's lesson is an advanced technique! I am going to show you how to take a stamped image and make it look like it was hand painted with no stamp lines! It takes lots of practice and even with lots of practice, you will see how I still don't get it right every time! So, check out the video and then find a simple image of your own to play with. And, be patient with yourself! It WILL take practice!

Lesson 5: Solid Stamps

Today's lesson is going to show you how to use your Aqua Painters along with your solid image stamps. Solid images don't need to be "colored in," but we can use our Aqua painters to soften them, fill them in when they don't stamp well and shade them! Check out the video and let's get to work!

Lesson 4: Framelits and Stencils

I am very excited about Lesson 3! By using your Framelits as a stencil, you can create beautiful "hand painted" images! You won't believe how easy it is! Make sure to watch the video and then pull out your Framelits and give it a try!
